David has been designing and developing computer-based
training with tools such as Flash, Authorware, and others for the
past 5 years, first with the University of Texas at Austin, and
most recently with Alaska Airlines Flight operations and training,
Hill-Rom corporation, RealVue Simulation Technologies, and Boeing.
He has been invited to speak on the topic of simulation
at industrial and technical conferences.
Prior to his work in the learning technologies,
David provided continuous quality and process improvement consulting
to large organizations including Marriott International, Jefferson
County Government, the University of North Texas and the University
of Texas at Austin.
Working from a W. Edwards Deming management philosophy,
David helped businesses achieve measurable performance and financial
results by focusing improvement efforts on business processes.
David is currently developing learning machines
using his knowledge from the behavioral sciences, and his skill
in building desktop device interface simulations. David believes
that with today's software development tools, and the learning technologies
developed more than 20 years ago, it is inevitable that we will
in short order, produce masters of a subject matter in amazingly
short cycle times.
David possesses a B.S. in Business Administration.
