The following example shows two different instances of the barrel dial, one in which the values increase by rolling upwards, and one in which the values increase rolling downwards. A property controls the direction.

In this example, we show how to adjust the barrel dial values. On first impression, some people think that the barrel dial has some kind of auto-update at a specific rate. Once you think about it, you'll realize that the barrel dial simply displays a single value, like other displays. It has no implicit movement in it. One gets movement by adjusting the barrel dial value.

In this example, we used FISButtonAttach with the repeater function to adjust the value by the specified increment. You can change the increment, the press "set units per click increment," and when you adjust the barrel dial, you will see how the increment affects the look.
