The MXP files have all the code and reference panel help needed to install the components. You will need the Macromedia Extension Manager to unpack and install the components.

If you have Flash MX 2004 installed on your system, we have noticed that if we simply open the MXP file directly, the Extension Manager installs the components into Flash MX 2004. While the components install correctly, the Reference panel help is lost somewhere in cyberspace.

To get the components into Flash MX, we have found in this case is to manually select the extensions for Flash MX (using the pull-down menu). Then use the install button on the toolbar, browse your folders and find FISComponents.mxp, and choose that to install.

When you have accepted the terms and installed the components, check to make sure that the components were installed in Flash MX and not Flash MX 2004.

Please note that we have found problems when using the components published specifically to the Flash 7 player. See Using in MX 2004 for more details.

Please direct any questions or comments to components@FlashSim.com, or to our components discussion board.
